Amazing News come from UK, after Madeira Island being added on the Amber list our local government have been doing everything in their power to bring us back to the Green list. Their effort definitely paid out, as we are going back to the green list from 4am of 30th of June. This means that you will not need to make quarantine from the 30th of June 2021 when flying back to UK. If you arrive in England from Madeira before then, you need to follow the amber list rules. Unfortunately, Mainland Portugal and the Azores will stay on the amber list.

The Autonomous Region of Madeira on Tuesday 22/06/2021 surpassed the mark of 200,000 vaccines administered against covid-19, already with more than 87,000 people with full vaccination and more than 112,000 with the first dose, totaling 175,000 eligible.

The regional authorities maintain the mandatory PCR negative test for covid-19 to enter the ports and airports of the Madeira autonomous region for travelers from abroad, authorizing the rapid antigenic tests for travel between islands - Madeira and Porto Santo.
